Aseptic pigging technology
KIESEL fittings are supplied with highly polished inner and outer surfaces. The surface roughness goes down to below 0.4 µm. Also for the pigs only aseptic hygienically approved polymers are used.
In this branch the know-how of G.A. KIESEL Molchtechnik and our subsidiary KIESEL Steril-Technik GmbH is combined to “aseptic pigging technology”. All nominal diameters in this branch of industry are adapted to the aseptic standard DIN11866. For the pipelines, high-alloy stainless steels Wst. Nr. 1.4404 and 1.4435 used.
This industry uses piggable seat valves, extended dampable transmitting and receiving stations.
